About Alwin Ng
Thank you for stopping by, my name is Alwin Ng and I’m this online learning hub. I am also a private retail trader with a huge passion in human behaviour. In fact, I apply the same interest in Market Psychology as well as Trading Psychology. I’m not a guru yet but I aspire to be one and I’m aiming to be the top in the trading industry.
I am a full time currency trader but I’m also a part time Transformation Coach (using NLP and Hypnosis), Online Educator, Blogger and Writer. In a gist, I’m a Traderpreneur.
How I trade?
I am a Technical Trader and that means technical analysis and charts are my only tools. Price action and price patterns give me an edge and I like to keep it simple. More often than not, people find it so simple that it's unbelievable.
Background
I graduated in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) in one of the top engineering universities in the UK (Imperial College London). Following my passion in finance and business, I qualified as a Professional Accountant (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
My career in Rolls Royce Plc, Barclays Plc and Royal Bank of Scotland Plc has given me an amazing exposure in both blue chip firms and in the financial sector. I also started a mobile phone trading business before I pursued a career as a market trader. The combined experience in the finance world and retail business gave me the edge in understanding market sentiment and trader’s behaviour.
Like you, I have my goals and, one day, I enrolled in an intensive trading education in London. During my training, I was coached by private retail, institutional and fund traders.
As an apprentice myself, I realised that lack of support in the areas of trading psychology. Once I became a full-time trader, I continued to pursue my passion in human behaviour and trading psychology.
I am now trained in the area of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and have been certified as a Master Coach and Master Practitioner by the American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ABNLP). I am also trained and certified as a certified Master Time Line Therapist and a Practitioner of Hypnotherapy by the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH).
I am currently an independent market trader and I actively trades the currency market as well as the US/ UK Indices. I specialise in Technical Analysis and Trading Psychology. My experience in both fields as well as having thought a few students in London has led him to launch Market Apprentice.
